Steel wire with a skin of cheesecloth and Japanese shoji paper. Lightweight, but sturdy, and translucent to light. I call them shoji sculptures, and I’ve spent a decade perfecting the technique. Each one is about representing a complex form with an economy of line. These aren’t trophies on a wall. They’re celebrations of form and shape, and each one is alive.
This will be a special one-night exhibit and silent auction. Come join us for an intimate evening with friends and family. Refresh yourself with light nibbles, sparkling wine, and other bubbly alternatives.
